Bio-Winzerhof zum Kellermandl
Description
The organic winery zum Kellermandl, run by the Trastaller family, has stood for strictly organic working methods since 2004. These have been audited by the BIOS organic inspection body since 2008. The focus is on working with nature, not on maximum profit. In the farm's cellar, the wine is treated gently and stored for several years in stainless steel tanks or in wooden barrels to mature. During this time, the maturation process is not interfered with. All wines are fermented spontaneously, without the addition of yeast, which also makes them suitable for vegans. This storage process makes it possible to dispense with various wine treatment agents, and some varieties are even vinified without sulphur. This gives each vintage of wine a unique and special taste. During the Spitzer wine hike followed by a wine tasting, you can experience nature up close and taste the wines of organic winegrower Marianne Trastaller.
