Brief description

A leisurely route from Aggsbach Markt over the Jauerling to Maria Laach and onwards to the Nonnersdorf Cross. Return via picturesque forest and field paths with views of the Danube Valley.

Description

From Aggsbach Markt station, we travel along the Danube to Groisbach. From there we climb the Jauerling via lightly trafficked roads. From Maria Laach, we ride over the vineyard to the Nonnersdorf Cross. The ride to Nonnersdorf offers magnificent views of the Alpine foothills. Then we return on forest and field paths that always offer a view of the Danube Valley back to Aggsbach Markt.

A1 to Melk and via B3 to Aggsbach Markt or via S5 or S33 to Krems and then via B3 to Aggsbach Markt.
