This route goes up and down through the picturesque Waldviertel on gentle forest and woodland paths, requiring good endurance and overcoming some elevation.

Description

The route starts at Rolandgasse in Weiten and follows the B216 cycle path to Am Schuß, before turning off at Streitwiesen to Braunegg. From there it continues through Gerersdorf along Gerersdorfer Street towards Pöggstall, with a detour at Loibersdorf via L7228 to Bergern. Here begins the entry to the picturesque Schwedenkreuz section, which leads to the Muckendorf junction. After about 100 meters, the route turns right towards Scheib and follows L7189 back to Braunegg. There, a viewing platform with a panoramic view awaits, before continuing over L7219 and various field, forest, and woodland paths to Heiligenblut and Feistritz. Along cycle path L81 the tour reaches Raxendorf and continues via L7211 and the cycle path, passing through Lehsdorf to Zeining and further on forest paths to the Nonnersdorfer Kreuz. From Nonnersdorf, go right towards Eibetsberg and via L7148 and L7150 to Weiten, before the route returns along B216 to Rolandgasse in Weiten.

Starting point Rolandgasse in Weiten - cycle path B216 to Am Schuß - Streitwiesen junction Braunegg - Gerersdorf - Gerersdorfer Street towards Pöggstall - Loibersdorf junction - L7228 via Loibersdorf to Bergern - entry into the Schwendenkreuz section - Schwedenkreuz section to Muckendorf junction - after approx. 100 m turn right towards Scheib - L7189 towards Braunegg - Braunegg viewing platform - Braunegg entry Braunegg section and via L7219 as well as field paths, forest and woodland paths to Heiligenblut - Feistritz - cycle path along L81 - Raxendorf - L7211 and cycle path via Lehsdorf towards Trandorf - field path towards Zeining - forest path to Nonnersdorfer Kreuz - Nonnersdorf right towards Eibetsberg - L7148 and L7150 towards Weiten - B216 to Weiten Rolandgasse.
