Weissi’s Gaststub’n

Description

If you are traveling from Emmersdorf towards Wachau and your stomach is rumbling, we recommend a visit to Weissi's Gaststub'n. This popular family business, which is known for its home-style cooking, is located directly on the B3. If you reserve a table at Weissi's Gaststub'n, you can expect a warm welcome! In recent years, Petra and Andreas Weissenböck have converted and expanded the former home into a popular and well-frequented inn. With its rustic parlor, bright conservatory and two guest gardens, the inn meets the tastes of its guests. When it comes to food and drink, the region clearly comes to the fore. The organic honey comes from the neighbor. The spelt bread comes directly from Grimsing. Wachau wines and beer from the Waldviertel are also served.

Grimsing's best tavern cuisine

There is something about eating in an inn that makes you feel at home and at the same time spoils you with culinary delights of the highest standard. The patroness of the establishment, Petra Weissenböck, and her daughter are regularly on top form in the kitchen. The boiled beef boiled beef is served with fine root vegetables, potato pancakes and chive sauce. Manfred Höllerschmid brings the meat from Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German). The deliciously souffléed schnitzel with parsley potatoes and a plump Veltliner veal cream pudding with napkin dumplings underline the typical tavern character. The warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, egg liqueur and whipped cream is always good.
