When choosing a route, make sure it’s appropriate for your fitness level. Check to see if the restaurants you plan to visit along the way are open. Pack your cell phone and maps in your backpack.

The route is suitable for trekking bikes. We recommend: a helmet, appropriate clothing and footwear, protection from rain and sun, a first-aid kit (blister bandages), and plenty of food and drink (snacks, granola bars, fruit, water).

Please do not leave any trash behind in the area!

Coming from St. Pölten, take the A1 to the Melk exit, then take the B3a over the Danube Bridge, follow the B3 toward Spitz, turn left at the B217/Ottenschläger Straße intersection, and continue on the B217 to Mühlbach.
Coming from Vienna, take the A22 and S5 to Krems, then continue on the B3; turn right at the B217/Ottenschläger Straße, and continue on the B217 to Mühlbach.
Coming from the west, take the A1 to the Melk exit, then take the B3a over the Danube Bridge, follow the B3 toward Spitz, turn left at the B217/Ottenschläger Straße intersection, and continue on the B217 to Mühlbach.
