Vacation at a Winery
The Özelt Winery is located in the heart of the historic town center of Spitz an der Donau in the Wachau region. Wine has been produced within these walls for more than 300 years, and the estate has been family-owned since 1865.
Our four cozy double rooms are located on the first floor of the winemaker’s house. They are individually decorated and equipped with box-spring beds, a shower and toilet, Wi-Fi, cable TV, a desk, and seating. All guest rooms are non-smoking.
In the morning, our guests enjoy breakfast at a table in Café Mariandl & Mehr, right next door. The menu includes Schmidl pastries, homemade jams, honey, a selection of sausages and cheeses, and seasonal specialties.
Thanks to our central location in the heart of Spitz, the Danube, the train station, and many starting points for hikes and bike tours are easily accessible. Our inn is also a great starting point for excursions, boat trips, and tours along the Welterbesteig Wachau - Wachau World Heritage Trail.
And during our opening hours, you can round off your day right here in our on-site wine tavern—with our Wachau wines from our own vineyard and classic, chilled wine tavern specialties.
