Kulturwanderweg Aggsbach

The newly constructed cultural hiking trail in Aggsbach starts directly in the municipality of Aggsbach Markt in front of the fire station and can be walked in both directions - either starting with prehistory (Station 1) or with the designation as a World Heritage Site (Station 12). It is also possible to take a shortcut, reducing the total distance from 6.5 km to approx. 4.2 km.
The trail is very well marked with brown/white "Wachau cultural-historical trail" markings. The fascinating cultural history of the Wachau is outlined on 12 information boards along the way and interesting historical and cultural facts about the municipality are told.
