Schloss Luberegg

Castle

Description

Luberegg Castle is one of the most romantic and unusual buildings in the region. Built just before 1787 by Joseph von Fürnberg, the famous Danube admiral and timber merchant from the Waldviertel, Luberegg was the summer residence of Emperor Franz II from 1803. Following extensive renovations, Luberegg Castle is now a unique event location for weddings, celebrations and seminars. The lovingly designed gardens with fountains and views of Melk Abbey invite you to linger.

The wine tavern "Haferkastn" offers you the opportunity to fortify yourself and visit the grounds.
