Rafting

A special experience is a drive up from Melk or Emmersdorf to the Wachau World Heritage Site.

The Naufahrt is the trip downstream from Melk or Emmersdorf to the Wachau World Heritage Site.

Guided tours of the Danube river are offered in the 10 meter wooden "Wachowia and Hinterhaus". During the trip up the river, interesting facts about shipping in the past and present as well as historical and cultural information about the region are provided.

Round trips for up to twelve people are possible between Melk, Emmersdorf and Schönbühel. Connecting trips - also for cyclists - are offered between Emmersdorf and Melk. Up to 8 people with bicycles can enjoy a piece of the Wachau on board the "Wachowia" as an alternative to their bike tour.

Special themed trips are offered for events such as the apricot and wine blossom, the Marillenkirtag, the Riesling festival in Weißenkirchen, etc.

The "Wachowia" can also be booked for Danube cruises between Passau and Bratislava.
