Description
Below the Hinterhaus ruins in the immediate vicinity of the B3 main road, a beautiful sandy gravel beach opens up at low tide. A few steps lead down to this section of the Danube. This spot is ideal for a refreshing dip in the Danube water or a short vacation, and is also suitable for dogs.
For a longer stay, however, it is advisable to pack a large bag. There are hardly any shady trees here, no sanitary facilities or shopping facilities. Swimming in the Danube is free, but at your own risk! Public parking spaces nearby are difficult to find.
Caution: due to the current at your own risk and only suitable for good swimmers!
