Description
Our winery is old, our vineyards probably even older. We are continuing work that was started generations ago. We are committed to this tradition, but we experiment where we feel it makes sense and modernize where we hope to make qualitative progress. Preserving what is valuable and creating something new is the guiding principle of our work. The Spitzer Graben, with its centuries-old stone terraces, cool winds and cold nights, naturally has a significant influence on the character of our wines.
Our intention is to express the balanced interplay between man, soil and vine in the overall structure of nature in our wines, to declare war on monotony, to give the time factor more and more rights and thus to produce crystal clear, healthy and digestible wines.
The wachauGOURMETfestival has been bringing top international chefs to the Wachau for several years and gives you the opportunity to enjoy very special dishes in perfect combination with Wachau wines. We are proud that this event has already become a fixed point in our annual schedule and look forward to experiencing this culinary highlight together with our guests every year.
